Since we live in a technological world, do you remember when we were told that “computers will save you all kinds of time?” Well, I just counted—I have sixty-seven logins and passwords. Can you guess how much time I lose searching for a password, only to come up empty and unable to respond to a request? Oh, and let’s not forget: now I have to print my own statements, dictated by this company or that one, using my own paper and ink. Thank you, technology, for all the “savings” I’ve realized.
I’m back from my trip to Eastern Europe, where I was helping with extended family issues—thankfully, technology didn’t lose my luggage this time! Since returning, I’ve had to deal with minor surgery. Now my editor is eager to finish up Time to Tell, historical fiction novel number two, and get it to print. No time to lose!
Be well, stay safe, and—most importantly—ENJOY this day.
